The “manu fica” or "figa" is a traditional charm said to ward off jealousy, evil spirits or other bad mojo. This one is 18k gold and sterling silver. The figa is "en habille," meaning it is "dressed" and wearing its own miniature jewelry -- in this case a red stone ring and a bracelet with a glimmering rose cut diamond (J-K/S12, approx .33ctw). A second red stone shines at the base of the pendant.

The pendant measures approximately 30mm x 33mm and weighs 8.6 grams and is in vintage condition with wear commensurate with age. An overall unusually beautiful example of the traditional figa.
